TILING
HINTS Draw a plan and measure where you want tiles to go and how many tiles you will need, and making allowances for grouting measurements. Make sure you have all necessary tools for the job, including tile cutters, trowel, squeegee, sponge, gloves etc. Be sure the area you are tiling is clean and dry before commencing. When tiling, make sure the tiles are pressed into the adhesive, note at least ninety percent of the adhesive should be in contact with the tile. When grouting, be sure that the grout it pushed right into the gaps so there is no holes in your grout when it dries. To remove the 'milky' haze from your tiles, after you have complete riling, use Bostik Instant PRO Tile & grout Cleaner to remove it, so your are left with sparkling clean tiles.

FLOORING HINTS Prior to installing any type of flooring, Bostik recommends that a test patch is completed before installing entire project. Make sure that the adhesive is recommended for the surface your are tiling or laying. Surfaces involved must be clean, dry and sound before installing new walls, and floors. For damp areas, first consult a professional to assess your area prior to application of any wall and floor surfaces. Always have the correct protective wear on hand, such as gloves and safety glasses, where necessary. If mixing is required for the task, be sure to mix thoroughly to ensure optimum adhesion. Ensure that enough adhesive is used for the job at hand. At least eighty percent of adhesive must be in contact with the surface and the material.
